New Day for Adoration at Saint John's Chapel

Beginning on Monday, October 5, St. John’s will have one evening of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every week on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

By moving to Monday, we will join with the Hispanic community who for many years have had adoration from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. During the Monday evenings there will be times of prayer such as the Hispanic prayers including the rosary from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. During the other hours, people are invited to bring their own prayers.

People are needed to take an hour each so that someone is always there when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. We are seeking volunteers who will commit to praying for one hour, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., or from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

There must be at least 3 people on each hour. We encourage all Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist to consider volunteering to pray to deepen their devotion to the Lord in this sacrament.
